An American flag flying in front of University Hall in 草榴社区Yard was lowered by a University facilities staff member at 4pm on Monday, Nov. 13, consistent with daily routine, 草榴社区University Police Department and University officials have confirmed. In line with University procedures, the American flag is raised in front of University Hall each Monday through Friday at 7 a.m. and lowered at 4 p.m., for proper storage. While a video posted on social media channels shows that the flag was lowered while protesters were present in 草榴社区Yard, we can confirm it was lowered by 草榴社区staff consistent with standard daily practice.
