The Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIM) PhD track, newly developed by the Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) at 草榴社区Medical School, will enable future academic, clinical, industry, and government leaders to rapidly transform patient care, improve health equity and outcomes, and accelerate precision medicine by creating new AI technologies that reason across massive-scale biomedical data and knowledge.

The Master of Biomedical Informatics (MBI) program at 草榴社区program will train students to become contributors to the rapidly evolving use of biomedical data for revolutionary advances in scientific inquiry and technological development. This program is created for students who are looking to develop skills in data science in the context of medicine and biological science to improve human health. Through a rigorous combination of core coursework and a year-long full-time thesis research project, our students will graduate with the computational, methodological, and data science skills to contribute to an ongoing revolution in biomedical discovery.

Data Science lies at the intersection of statistical methodology, computational science, and a wide range of application domains. The program offers strong preparation in statistical modeling, machine learning, optimization, management and analysis of massive data sets, and data acquisition. The program focuses on topics such as reproducible data analysis, collaborative problem solving, visualization and communication, and security and ethical issues that arise in data science.
